Original work is an installation of 3 paintings (hand-stitched thread and acrylic on canvas on panel) and 3 sculptures (hand-stitched thread, cotton, and batting on wood).

This piece is based on memories of my childhood home. The paintings represent different rooms, and the coordinating sculptural benches indicate the floors of the spaces represented. The viewer was invited to sit on the benches as a way of inserting themself into the work.
